Service Description

Honored for centuries as sacred plant medicine, tea is approached here with deep gratitude, care, and presence. In this Spring Equinox gathering, tea becomes a living guide-inviting you to release distraction, return to what is essential, and embody the quiet wisdom she offers. This is not about observation or instruction; it is about entering into relationship, presence, and reverence. Each ceremony is held with intention, as if it were both the first and the last. We begin with a gentle grounding meditation, followed by the slow, deliberate preparation and sharing of tea. Practiced largely in silence, the rhythm of the ceremony creates a refuge, where the nervous system softens, awareness deepens, and time itself seems to widen. Guided by the Four Virtues of Tea-Harmony, Respect, Purity, and Tranquility-the experience offers clarity, balance, and a quiet sense of coming home. Rooted in shamanic Taoism and Zen Buddhism, Cha Dao honors tea sourced from wild, old-growth trees that carry centuries of wisdom. Each ceremony unfolds uniquely, offering precisely what is needed in the moment. This is a moment of balance, where light returns and you're invited to slow down with it.
